- A resolution of 300 PPI/DPI is recommended for the design file, if the resolution is less than 150 DPI, it needs to be redraw.
- If we want to print a design in size of 8 x 10 inches. To calculate the required dimensions of the digital file, you would multiple the print dimensions by the resolution:
8 inches x 300 PPI = 2400 pixels
10 inches x 300 PPI = 3000 pixels
So the required digital file size would be 2400 x 3000 pixels, at a minimum.


- Zoom in the design picture , the edges of the high resolution version of the picture should be as smooth as this two pictures.
- If the edge is like the picture on the right, it is not a high-definition picture.
